THE STONE 100 percent natural rainbow obsidian: volcanic glass with a spectacular multicolor sheen, green-gold aurora-like center, purple and magenta edges, and blue flashes that appear with the light. Polished to mirror shine, undyed, unheated, untreated. The pattern looks like a moving nebula; few pieces show so much color range together, which makes it a collector piece in its own right.
THE SETTING Perimeter silver-tone metal bezel with rope edge that frames and protects the stone, finished with a solid bail and ring for cord. Firm jewelry-quality setting, handmade. Includes adjustable black cord ready to wear.
